The Parish of Camerton and Seaton with West Seaton is fully compliant with the Church of England Safeguarding Procedures.
The Parish Of Camerton and Seaton with West Seaton has adopted the Church’s policy (Promoting a Safer Church) that puts children, young people & vulnerable adults at the centre of our concerns, and we have adopted the safeguarding policy and guidance agreed by the House of Bishops.
All members of the Parochial Church Council and those who work with children or vulnerable adults within the church have received appropriate training.
The Parish Safeguarding Officer, appointed by the Parochial Church Council is Mrs Kathleen Jones.

If you believe a child be at immediate risk, you must contact Cumbria Children's Services using the 24 hour number 03332401727, or the police. Urgent concerns about vulnerable adults should be referred to your local District Adult Social Care office on 01900 706325, or the Emergency Duty Team: 01228 526690 out of normal office hours.
